Future Vets Program – Healesville Sanctuary: What better way for kids to dive into the world of animal care than through play? This adorable play space at the Wildlife Health Centre lets little ones (and adults!) don uniforms, choose animals from their crates, scan them with the x-ray machine, check heartbeats, feed them with bottles, or practice bandaging skills—all while sparking their imagination and learning about real veterinary care. The working hospital is partially visible, but recent improvements now keep the play areas separate, and interactive displays teach children how wildlife is cared for in the real world.
