Maniax – Abbotsford is the ultimate spot to unleash your inner warrior and try your hand at axe throwing! After a safety briefing and some expert tips, you get your own cage to practise throwing until you hit the target. It’s endlessly satisfying to hear that strong FLONK as the axe sticks into the wood, and hitting the bullseye feels like a real achievement. Sessions last over an hour, but you’ll be so absorbed you won’t notice the time fly. After throwing, you can relax with a drink or pizza in their cool hangout space. Maniax also hosts events where you can compete with friends and “bury the old hatchet.” Sessions run for two hours (11 am–1 pm and 2 pm–4 pm), with free prebooking required for each participant and individual tickets purchased at the venue. Remember to wear closed-toe shoes, and enjoy the newly extended track!
