Omaru Alpaca Farm – Yarra Glen is a delightful Sunday afternoon outing, open to the public on the first and fourth Sundays of each month for their Farm Open Days. Visitors can get up close with the friendly alpacas, feed them with provided straw, and even spot some adorable babies sticking close to their mums. The farm also has a small gift shop with alpaca-themed goodies and basic tea and coffee facilities. While there’s no café on site, you’re welcome to BYO picnic or take the opportunity to visit nearby wineries for a leisurely lunch.
