Toorongo Falls Reserve, Noojee is a magical spot for waterfall lovers and a favourite outdoor adventure for Mamma. The reserve boasts two stunning waterfalls—Toorongo Falls and Amphitheatre Falls—accessible via a kid-friendly bush walk along a well-formed trail (though not pram-friendly). As you wander through the forest, cross a bridge over rushing rapids, and climb into the hills, the view of the cascading waters from the lookout platforms is simply mesmerising. Mamma recommends tackling the 2.2km loop in an anti-clockwise direction to reach Toorongo Falls first, then continue across the top to Amphitheatre Falls before descending alongside a moss-covered river. The trail has some steep stairs and can be slippery when wet, but it’s manageable and makes for a beautiful hour-long bush adventure.
