Yarra Valley Railway – Healesville is a charming vintage train experience that’s perfect for little ones and families alike. Home to a classic 1950s single-carriage train, it currently runs from Healesville through picturesque farms and wineries to Tarrawarra Winery, with the highlight being a hundred-year-old tunnel – hold hands through this dark passageway for extra fun! The 45-minute ride offers spectacular views and a completely new perspective of the Yarra Valley, making it ideal for toddlers and preschoolers on their first vintage train adventure. The dedicated volunteers behind the railway are working hard to extend the line all the way back to Yarra Glen, promising even more scenic journeys in the future.
