The Fire Services Museum of Victoria is a must-visit for all emergency services fans! Located in the original headquarters of the Metropolitan Fire Brigade, the museum is packed with fire-fighting memorabilia from Victoria and beyond, including old breathing masks, uniforms, medals, fire-fighting apparatus, and, of course, vintage fire engines. Highlights include a hand-drawn 40-feet escape ladder cart, a fire horse-drawn pumper, and a “Dennis” Pumper truck where kids can try on jackets and helmets for fun photo ops. Run by passionate ex-firefighters, the museum also offers regular demos like mock rescues and car cutting. Plus, don’t forget to check out the gift shop!
